Abstract
The purpose of this dissertation is to create an android application, with the help of which the user will be able to translate in real time text detected by the camera of his phone. After logging in / registering, they select from the settings, from and in which language you want to translate. Then, pressing the center button, the camera of the phone opens and when it detects text, it
displays its translation on top of it. The text to be translated, the language of the text and the translation, the geographical location, the id as well as the country of the user are stored in Firebase.
Also, part of this work is the development of a web application, in which the user can see various statistics such as how many translations have been done in each country for a certain period of time and which users have done the most translations.
