The role of Human Resources Management, in the management of remote work during the pandemic

This paper focuses on highlighting the role of Human Resource Management, the set of strategies it is called upon to implement and the number of practices it has been called upon to adapt following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic which has hit the economy as a whole. In particular, the aim is to analyze the status of teleworking that took place directly by most companies and in particular the set of challenges it brings for Human Resource Management. Among them were the maintenance and increase of employee productivity, the control of burnout due to increased working hours, the balance between personal and professional life of individuals and the issue of supervision by superiors, since the number of individuals was called to work from his place. Finally, the practices that the Human Resources Management was called upon to undertake for each of these issues are mentioned, as well as the way in which large multinational companies such as NESTLÉ, Google and Coca Cola moved regarding the way they managed their workforce and contributed, both in the prevention of burnout and his satisfaction.
