Sustainable development is the basis for progress and evolution. Providing complete, value-added
solutions and achieving business excellence has become a strategic choice, a competitive advantage and a
matter of corporate responsibility. Therefore, we have noticed from both sides, corporate and academic,
that not only the governments among the globe but also the consumers always reward a sustainable mindset
and sustainable practices in an organization. In this paper, we examine two cases in a market simulation,
whether a monopolist acquires a sustainable startup or byes from a sustainable upstream supplier.
Additionally, we examine the reasons why sustainable development is very significant but also the reasons
why sustainable start-ups will the lead the way to carbon neutral.
