This dissertation investigates the future arrivals of German tourists in Greece through a forecasting method with the help of the Statgraphics program.
Initially, some data on tourism in Greece are mentioned, such as the arrivals and revenues it has received in recent years. In addition, Germany is presented in terms of its history, language, religion and state. Also, the profile of German tourists and their tourist movement in Greece in recent years is determined. Then, reference is made to the Greek-German relations, in economic, political and cultural level. Finally, the methodology for forecasting arrivals from German tourists is analyzed and the results of the research are presented.
It should be noted, that the data contained in this dissertation, have not taken into account the consequences of COVID-19.
