Abstract
This paper examines the major issue of insurance in our country focusing on
the second pillar of insurance. It presents the operating framework of the
Occupational Insurance Funds in Greece as well as the reasons for their
slow growth. Through a questionnaire of 10 questions that we addressed to TEA, useful
information about their investment strategy, their estimates for the near
future and the importance of the age of their members in determining their
investment strategy are highlighted. Two case studies are presented in the same context. Deepening the analysis,
an empirical survey is conducted to investigate whether an investor's
degree of risk aversion affects the investment of his property in a risky
asset from the age of 20 until the retirement age (65 years). The second
study focuses on investigating the effect of any stock market change on the
investor's salary and assets.
