The last 15 years are characterized by a huge technological development mainly in the field of mobile phones. Smartphones are now an integral part of human life. The music industry was not unaffected by this. Most people now use mainly digital media to listen to music. One of the most popular applications that offer such services is Spotify. This application, in addition to listening to music, also offers the creation of music suggestions for the user. These suggestions concern the general profile of the user's music choices. The purpose of this thesis is to create an application that will make musical suggestions to the user aiming to satisfy his short-term desires. In order to achieve this goal Advanced Fuzzy Cognitive Maps are used . This methodology simulates the human way of thinking in order to model a system. It is a combination of Fuzzy Logic and Neural Networks and with their use was achieved the creation of a robust and at the same time flexible system of music selection. This work presents the process followed in order to develop an application in Android operating system and to integrate the Fuzzy Cognitive Maps methodology.
