The subject of this master dissertation is a detailed and comprehensive study of the evolution of various mobile generation technologies in wireless communication. The work deals with the development of mobile telephony, which has helped the development of the telecommunications sector in general. The first generation has met the basic needs for voice transmission, while the second generation has introduced a large capacity and a large coverage area. The third generation included data transmission at higher speeds, providing users with "broadband experience" in mobile telephony. The fourth generation provides access to a wide range of telecommunications services, including advanced mobile services and is supported by mobile and fixed networks. The fifth generation of mobile telephony provides even higher speeds of the Gigabit class. This will be an ecosystem with millions of devices, completely transforming the mobile broadband experience. The 5G era is expected to have unprecedented growth in critical communications and the IoT. In addition to IoT, it also integrates several new technologies such as Virtualisation, SDN (Software Defined Networking), Cloud.
