Abstract

The scope of this dissertation is to present the design and development of a distributed system build on microservice architecture. The main purpose is the collection and extraction of information. The data are real time measurements of temperature, humidity, light and GPS longitude and latitude coming from a sensor unit. Extracting the data, we gather useful information about the local environment. In addition, this dissertation examines the scalability of the system and presents the positive effects of a distributed system in IOT field.
