Evaluation of adaptive tutoring systems: a literature review

Abstract
In this thesis, we are presenting software evaluation frameworks for specific categories: user interfaces, educational systems, adaptive systems and educational games. The increasing use of computers in all aspects of our lives has made really important to evaluate the software we use daily, whether for our personal, educational or professional needs. The efficiency, usability and effectiveness of these softwares are particularly significant as they usually involve financial gains or, in their absence, of financial loss, which adds more importance to the significance of software evaluation. Finally, we compare all the frameworks with each other firstly by category, in order to arrive at conclusions as to which one is superior to its category or to a particular feature or sub-feature of model ISO/IEC 25010 used.
