Abstract

The current thesis project is about analysis, design and implementation of an e-commerce web application using modules of the Spring Framework. More specifically, the system is one online store that sells video games.The application has two distinct roles, the administrator and the user (authenticated or anonymous), while each one has different user privileges. The application provides personalization functionalities to the authenticated users, with the use of stereotypes, while it also provides personalized offers and purchase recommendations to them.
