Abstract
The aim of this diploma thesis is the strategic analysis of the company Karamolegos Bread Industry S.A. An analytical approach is made using the strategic management model to select the most appropriate strategy for the company. The thesis analyzes both the theoretical background of the strategic management model and its practical application through the case study of a Greek company operating in the standard bakery industry. The diploma thesis includes a total of eight chapters. The first chapter presents the theoretical background of the strategic management model, in detail. The second chapter refers to the analysis of the standard bakery industry. The third chapter presents Karamolegos Bakery SA. Continuing in the fourth chapter presents the external environment of the company through the analysis of the natural, generalized and immediate environment. Then, in the fifth chapter, reference is made to the company's internal environment, identifying its structure, culture and resources. The sixth chapter presents the SWOT analysis and in the seventh the emergence of the current strategy of the company. In the last and eighth chapter we analyze the alternative strategies of the company with the help of the TOWS matrix and the final conclusions are drawn.
