Abstract

The current thesis has as main target the design and development of a medical web application, which will be compatible for use by any browser and mobile devices. The purpose of the application is to let the user record the history of the illnesses he has suffered from, and also to be able to see the chances of getting a condition due to heredity. Moreover, the user will have the choice to declare his relatives’ personal registration numbers in order for the heredity data to be resulted. The application will also have medical articles available to the user, as well as other related articles that will pop up in the profile of the user based on the illnesses that he has declared. A major advantage for the user, will not only be the fact that he will be able each time to know from what illnesses he has already suffered, but also to be able to know the potential diseases that may affect him based on his heredity. In this dissertation we have created two applications , Web versions and Android version. The Web version is developed by Posnakidis Iraklis(MPPL 15061) and has been presented in his own dissertation.
