The purpose of master’s thesis is to design, develop and present the secondary education application under the name “EducationApp”. This application is intended to be used by teachers and students during a lesson as well as outside the classroom settings, through the use of android smartphones and tablets. In this thesis we present the reasons for choosing the specific operating system as well as its individual components. After that an overview of similar existing applications is given, whose study led to the development of the “EducationApp” application. Last but not least, a detailed presentation of the “EducationApp” application follows.
