Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is the development of an online shopping system that will take advantage of the abilities of the modern portable devices (mobile phones, tablets) and especially location tracking in order to offer better services to the customers and benefits for the shops during the delivery of the bought products. An android application was developed, which let customer buy products from the system and through which customer’s location is tracked live throughout the pickup of bought products. A website was also developed that lets shops manage the products they sell and monitor in real time product pickups from their customers.
