dc.description.abstract	Ο σκοπός της διπλωματικής εργασίας είναι η έρευνα και η ανάπτυξη ενός σύγχρονου Learning Management System το οποίο να ανταποκρίνεται στις ολοένα αυξανόμενες απαιτήσεις της διδασκαλίας ξένων γλωσσών. Σε αυτή την εργασία γίνεται μια παρουσίαση παρόμοιων Learning Management Systems, καθώς και μια αξιολόγηση των πλεονεκτημάτων και μειονεκτημάτων τους. Έπειτα, γίνεται περιγραφή μέσω τις διαδικασίας Rational Unified Process της δομής και των λειτουργιών του πληροφοριακού συστήματος. Επιπλέον, παρουσιάζονται οι καινοτομίες που προσφέρει το πληροφοριακό μας σύστημα στον χώρο των Learning Management Systems. Τέλος, γίνεται μια σύντομη αναφορά των τεχνολογιών που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν και υποστήριξαν τη λειτουργία του πληροφοριακού συστήματος, καθώς και ένα documentation όπου προβάλλεται με τη χρήση screenshot το σύστημα διεπαφής του Learning Management System.	el

dc.description.abstractEN	The goal of this dissertation is the research and development of a state of the art Learning Management System which responds to the growing requirements of foreign language teaching. In this dissertation, similar Learning Management Systems are presented, as well as an evaluation of their advantages and disadvantages. Furthermore, the functions of the informational system are described by using the Rational Unified Process. In addition, innovations that the informational systems offers in the field of Learning Management Systems are presented. Finally, there is a brief mention of the technologies that are supporting the informational system, as well as a documentation section where the user interface is displayed with the use of screenshots.	el
