Master thesis research is about thermal comfort. Thermal comfort is a condition that affects the human mind to the satisfaction of the factors in the environment such as the actual sensation of the environment, the sun (if you prefer more or not), wind speed, relative humidity, the perception of the luminous environment, the glare, the acoustics of the environment (sound) and the acoustics of the house.
In the first chapter we deal with the definition of thermal comfort, we said a few words about the European Union program RUROS from whose we got the questionnaires which was based on these analysis. At the end of one attempt throwback from operations that were subject to thermal comfort.
The second chapter is devoted to the questionnaires completed. We try to comment the scale of the questionnaire. We also refer the variables which are in it.
The third chapter is that which is an exploratory analysis of the variables based on country, site, season and sex of respondents.
In the fourth chapter attempts to make an exploratory analysis to describe various statistical data with the help of tables and graphs. Become also a breakdown by groups of statistical data presented by characteristic values or properties.
Chapter fifth attempts to make a statistical analysis and grouping of variables with multivariate statistics and more specifically the factors analysis method and the cluster analysis with the k-means algorithm.
