The subject of this paper is the evaluation of a product line through distributed systems of three-dimensional printers which finds resources through the cloud or otherwise making use of the revolutionary method called “cloud manufacturing” in order to find the degree of impact that may have on the environment and to compare it with the environmental impact that this time the classical method of production has. Therefore we took 3 indicative products of wide consumption and can be built with 2 production methods and we compared the energy needed to construct each of them as well as some other parameters monitored in this thesis.
