This thesis investigates the innovative products of e-banking, crowdfunding and peer-to-peer lending. E-banking products will be studied from their creation to their present form and how they have influenced the everyday transactions of clients. Regarding the freedom of transactions, information technology managed to liberate clients significantly by introducing the e-wallet so that every transaction is done by using a mobile phone. This service will replace credit cards in the following years forcing banks to adapt to the new era.
Then an introduction to the concept of crowdfunding will be made and the new type of loans offered by peer-to-peer lending and how its introduction will influence the banking sector in the following years shall be studied.
