The value of information that currently provided at an explosive pace cannot be denied by anyone. In modern society the knowledge replaced with new knowledge, in a very short time. Particularly knowledge of modern technologies and technological goods develops explosively and many of them are outdated within a few years.
The lending libraries are or at least should be the most important extracurricular activity each society and the main means of contact, especially young, by the book. This contact between citizens and the book is part of an effort in order to develop integrated personalities and active citizens. Thus, reading books, any content, as it becomes the fundamental factor of development of a society.
The information technology in recent decades has changed drastically for the better, the degree of effectiveness of the management process in libraries. Each system follows an evolutionary path, and the same applies to the information systems used at times by libraries. Managing a library using an information system allows viewing and highlights its importance, while addressing successfully the issues of monitoring and recording of project lenders.
This paper presents the development of a software platform, created to support the operation and organization of a lending library. The platform allows the electronic library management, visibility of content, and the disposal of the books of the lenders. By using the information system thus borrowers will receive better quality services and greatly facilitated the difficult task of librarians, the library management.
