At the first chapter of this paper the beginning and the evolution of spa facilities; the effect of “day spa” and also the spa categories which exist in accordance with the National Spa Union, are presented. Next, a list of the most well known Greek Spa Facilities and a list of the most popular related treatments, is given. The information mentioned at the subsection International Spa Industry are of special interest. Moreover the risks and the prospects of spa, are mentioned. At the second chapter there is a short explanation to the reader about the therapeutic properties of the water and its use as a therapeutic instrument with reference to the knowledge of the Father of Medicine Hippocrates. In addition there is a systematic reporting of the diseases that can be cured by the method of hydrotherapy. Next there is a quote that apart from the diseases that can be potentially cured, people can feel both mentally healthy and feel emotional pleasure with the effect of hydrotherapy. The following fourth chapter is about a detailed report on the content of writing a business plan. The presentation reports on the practice of the Greek and International approach. A systematic reporting of the content that should be within a business plan about the information the writer should include in detail in order to ensure that the final draft is both reliable and fully updated. The last chapter includes the approach and the writing of a business plan related to the establishment and the operation of a Spa center. In order to achieve this, the following were taken into account : intrinsic law, necessary facilities, instruments, balances, competitors, Porter analysis, SWOT analysis, general conclusions, especially conclusions.
