The present paper is an effort of critical and interpretational approach of the legal frame concerning the methods of human medical assisted reproduction. In particular, the issue of post mortal fertilisation is analysed and the conditions with which it is allowed are defined. In parallel, the shortcomings of the formerly effective law are assessed and the recent legal arrangements are thoroughly reviewed. Also, evidence of comparative law is being cited in order to derive the relevant conclusions for each individual country. Concerning the problematic issues of post mortal IVF, arguments are being cited about the way the method is allowed and the reactions against its appliance are being examined. Also, the main ethical and social issues arisen by this issue are being underlined. Finally, the reference to the important role of the biology law was necessary as well as the reference to International Laws towards finding practical solutions and facing uniformly the problems arising by biomedical applications.
