This assignment has been prepared in order to describe new technologies about electronic commerce. E-commerce is inextricably linked to the services of e-invoicing and e-payment. For this reason in the first part of the paper I will present the developments in electronic invoicing and electronic payments. Moreover I will mention the standards that are used for the e-invoices and the safety practices that are used. Finally I will present the Single Euro Payments Area.
In the second part of this paper I will describe the design and development of an online store which sells traditional Greek products in the domestic and European market. This e-shop will issue electronic invoices, digitally signed, and executed electronic payments in accordance with the standard ISO20022.
