In today's rapidly changing business environment, businesses operate and are called upon to exist and grow, becoming extremely competitive due to the severe economic crisis we are experiencing. An important factor for the survival of the business is the achievement of a high level of supply chain management. A milestone for the supply chain is the ability to contribute through transportation to the movement of goods internationally, which is dominated by maritime transport. Current trends dominating the world such as intense competition, e-business and high customer expectations require the integration of technology in the supply chain and logistics. The role of technology is a catalyst in the survival and competitiveness of businesses and thus various technical products and systems are used in the broader sense of logistics management. The purpose of this diploma dissertation is to present the forwarding of re- engineering ship spare parts in maritime transportation and to understand how they benefit from the technological solutions provided based on current technology trends.
