Blockchain technology has emerged as a revolutionary approach to enhancing security, transparency, and efficiency across various sectors, such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). The application of Blockchain in these systems enables the creation of a secure, immutable ledger that records all transactions and processes, thereby reducing the likelihood of errors and fraud. In WMS systems, Blockchain technology can enhance real-time inventory tracking, allowing users to accurately locate and monitor the condition of products, while ensuring that the data remains immutable and free from tampering. In ERP systems, its integration contributes to the automation of processes and more efficient supply chain management, ensuring immediate, accurate, and secure data exchange between the involved parties without the need for intermediaries. The application of Blockchain in these systems enhances data reliability, reduces costs, and improves efficiency, while simultaneously providing businesses that adopt it with a strategic competitive advantage. The aim of this Master Thesis is to study the opportunities provided by Blockchain technology in warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, with an emphasis on its impact on enhancing security, improving efficiency, reducing costs, and providing competitive advantages for businesses that adopt it.
