The aim of this Master’s Thesis is to investigate the integration of sustainability practices and eco-design of products into business strategy. The study analyzes the concept of sustainability for businesses, product eco-design, corporate strategies and corporate social responsibility. Furthermore, it emphasizes the way sustainability practices can be integrated and the role of financing.
The methodology is based on extensive literature review of scientific databases, journals, books and online sources, aiming at the analysis and comparison of theoretical approaches and practical applications in the business context.
The findings indicate that integrating sustainability practices and eco-design leads to economic, social and environmental benefits for businesses, improves their reputation, strengthens collaborations with stakeholders and contributes to creating a more sustainable future.
