Abstract

This master's thesis explores the design and development of a simple and user-friendly web application for managing personal finances. The app is mainly designed for families and allows parents and children to organize their finances easily and safely. Users can check their balance, send money, view past transactions, and in the case of parents manage child accounts. The application was built using Python and Flask, and stores data locally with SQLite. The main goal is to offer a practical tool that helps people, especially younger users, understand and manage their money better.
