Abstract
This undergraduate thesis presents the development of HealthMate, a comprehensive digital web platform combining electronic medical records and appointment scheduling, designed for use by both patients and doctors. The application supports three distinct roles (User/Patient, Doctor, Administrator) and enables access to a detailed medical history, including diagnoses, medical tests, surgeries, prescriptions, allergies, vaccinations, hospitalizations and family medical background. Key features include the ability to schedule appointments, view medical data and role-based statistics, receive medication reminders, generate PDF documents and automatically send prescriptions to doctors via email. In addition, the application incorporates a 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) system to enhance security and is mobile-compatible, offering light/dark mode and a user-friendly, intuitive interface.
