Abstract

Quiz Showdown is an interactive trivia mobile application that allows users to test their knowledge and compete against friends or other players in real time. The game features two main question categories: General Knowledge and Flags of the World, as well as a dedicated single-player mode where users must answer ten consecutive questions correctly in order to win.The application places a strong emphasis on user interface and experience, with a vibrant gradient background, carefully chosen color contrasts for better readability, and fluid animations that provide visual feedback (e.g., correct/wrong answer effects, category reveals, player response indicators). These design elements aim to offer a smooth, competitive, and enjoyable gameplay experience.In addition to the quiz features, players can explore a comprehensive statistics dashboard that includes data such as total player count, category performance trends, and a detailed match history, helping users track their performance and stay engaged with the community.
