This thesis deals with the creation of a content management system for museum websites. It analyzes the techniques of creating content through plug-in applications and the technologies that display it to visitors.
The main content management systems that cover the needs of exhibiting are presented, as well as all the necessary functionalities required to create a website up to the presentation of the result to the end user.
The system created is divided into two views, one belongs to the website administrator and the other to the visitor. Both views have common goals, the successful posting of exhibits and smooth navigation within the website.
With this thesis, an attempt is made to project, at an academic level, the technologies that were used in the implementation of structuring the content in the system with the presentation of the corresponding elements. Also, the prospects, expansion and enrichment of the present position will be able to be a dynamic repository in the creation and management of content management systems.
