The increasing prevalence of Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) practices in the business sector has posed significant risks and challenges to organizations. Many businesses fall victim every day to cyber attacks targeting corporate BYOD users. The goal of this research is to examine BYOD users’ cybersecurity awareness and behavior in the workplace. Consequently, a survey was conducted asking relevant questions in a sample of employees who were allowed to use BYOD in their organizations. This survey utilized a questionnaire developed based on guidelines provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology(NIST). The findings of this survey highlight a lack of knowledge among users about organizational security measures, the need for increased caution among BYOD users regarding device security, and the need for enhancing security policies and implementing additional measures despite organizations having achieved a satisfactory level of security for BYOD.
