This thesis introduces a decentralized application (DApp) for academic degree verification,
leveraging the Ethereum blockchain and NFTs. Developed using Solidity, Node.js, Angular,
MongoDB, and TypeScript, with Metamask integration, this DApp streamlines the process
of degree authentication. It features three user roles: Degree Holders, who can view and
request certification for their achievements; Issuers, authorized entities to verify degrees; and
Third Party, individuals or entities, who seek to confirm the legitimacy of academic
credentials. This system provides a secure, transparent, and efficient solution to modernize
the verification of academic credentials, showcasing the potential of blockchain technology
in enhancing educational and professional standards.
