In this thesis I will develop the reasons why a private school unit will benefit to the maximum if it implements Marketing Mix strategies. I will justify my opinion by presenting the theories of Marketing, its historical development and the internal structure of a Marketing plan. Consequently, the Marketing theory will be separated for a product and for a service. The characteristics and theories of Service Marketing, as well as its historical development, will be extensively presented. Distinguishable emphasis will be placed on the development of the 7P's of Services Marketing. As the topic is focused on the use of the 7P's plan in private education, an extensive report will be made on private education in Greece over time. The last chapter will present the reasons that make necessary, for a private school unit, the Marketing Mix strategies as a guarantee for its successful course and development.
