The purpose of this thesis is the preparation of an investment/business plan for the development within the Greek territory, specifically in the Regional Unit of Arcadia, of a 1.0 MWel electricity production unit from biogas.
In more detail, in the 1st chapter a brief mention is made in the description of the business. Then, the 2nd chapter is an extensive analysis of the basic idea and the history of the investment. The next chapter (3rd) includes the industry analysis, domestic market analysis and the marketing mix. The 4th chapter includes the analysis of raw materials and supplies. Then in the next chapter (5th) there is a thorough analysis of mechanical equipment used in the new investment. Analyzed the production program, the purchase of machinery and quality assurance systems. Chapter (6th) analyzes the organization of the unit and general expenses. In the next chapter (7th) reference was made to the human resources needed for the needs of the investment plan. In the next two chapters (8) (9) there was an analysis of the installation site, the location and the planning of the execution of the works. Finally, in the last chapter, the financial evaluation of the investment is done, where it will help us to conclude whether our business plan is viable based on the data we have obtain.
