| dc.description.abstract | Η εφοδιαστική αλυσίδα αποτελεί κρίσιμο κομμάτι για την οικονομία και την ομαλή μετακίνηση σημαντικών αγαθών. Λόγω της πανδημίας Covid-19, έγινε αντιληπτό κατά πόσο μια εφοδιαστική αλυσίδα πρέπει να είναι αξιόπιστη, να λειτουργεί σωστά και να βρίσκεται σε κοινή πορεία με τις τεχνολογικές εξελίξεις ώστε να προσαρμόζεται σε κάθε κρίσιμη στιγμή. Στην παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία γίνεται μια βιβλιογραφική έρευνα για τις συνέπειες των υγειονομικών κρίσεων, και ιδιαίτερα της πανδημίας Covid-19, στην παγκόσμια εφοδιαστική αλυσίδα, με ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στις μεταφορές. Η ραγδαία εξάπλωση της πανδημίας έφερε τεράστιες αλλαγές στις οργανωτικές δομές της εφοδιαστικής αλυσίδας και θέτει τα θεμέλια για το πως θα λειτουργεί ο κλάδος των Logistics στο μέλλον. Επίσης, γίνεται μια αναφορά πάνω στη θεωρία για το τι είναι η εφοδιαστική αλυσίδα και πως αλληλεπιδρά με την κοινωνία γενικότερα. Αναφέρονται επίσης στοιχεία για το πως επηρεάστηκαν οι εμπορευματικές μεταφορές, πως εξελίχθηκε η εφοδιαστική αλυσίδα τροφίμων και το ηλεκτρονικό εμπόριο και γίνεται μια μικρή αναφορά για το πως επηρεάστηκε ο κλάδος των Logistics στην Ελλάδα. | el |

| dc.description.abstractEN | The supply chain is a critical part of the economy and the smooth movement of important goods. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it was realized that a supply chain must be reliable, functioning properly and keeping pace with technological developments in order to adapt to any critical moment. In the present thesis, a literature review is carried out on the consequences of health crises, and in particular the Covid-19 pandemic in the global supply chain, with special emphasis on transport. The rapid spread of the pandemic has brought huge changes to the organizational structures of the supply chain and lays the foundation for how the Logistics industry will operate in the future. There is also a reference to the theory of what the supply chain is and how it interacts with society in general. Finally, information on how freight transport was affected, how the food supply chain and e-commerce evolved and a brief report on how the Logistics sector in Greece was affected, are presented. | el |
