In a school, the work of the head teacher can be characterized as dynamic but at the same time, complex and demanding. The work volume, which is called to be faced, includes both pedagogical and administrative work. But especially for administrative work, the implement of Information and Communication Technologies, which are being developed rapidly in recent years, is proving to be highly helpful. Managers ' perceptions of the use of ICT in administrative work are influenced by many factors, some of which are familiarity in the use of computers, satisfaction, friendliness to the user and usability. Therefore, the study of perceptions is crucial in deciding whether or not to adopt the above technological means and how it will be implemented.
At the same time, the criteria of educational websites and whether the material they provide satisfies the users, both quantitatively and qualitatively, and whether it enhances the educational process and to what extent, have been evaluated. Exploring these elements helps the designers and authors of the content to improve their facilities and discover the needs of their visitors.
The method used to investigate the above data is that of the questionnaire which was sent to 117 directors of Secondary Education. The data were collected, quantified and encoded and then their statistical processing followed with the SPSS 18.0 program.
The results of the analysis lead to conclusions both for the adoption of ICT in the administrative work of school units and for the evaluation of educational websites. On the one hand, we see that although the use of ICT can greatly facilitate the administrative task, its implementation presents challenges that must be addressed methodically for the successful transition from the analog mode of administration to the digital one. Regarding the evaluation of educational websites, the evidence shows that while the content is largely satisfactory, there is still room for improvement.
