The present thesis is submitted in the framework of the postgraduate program entitled "E-Learning". The object of this dissertation is the design, development and evaluation of a literacy promotion program for preschool children in a technology-supported environment in the form of a digital library. The Google Classroom learning management system was chosen for the needs of the research process. The aim of this program was to observe whether and to what extent the implementation of a literacy promotion program in this form can help to cultivate the interest of kindergarten students in book reading and emergent literacy. The action-research took place in the classroom of the kindergarten "Artemis & Iason" and involved fourteen children aged five and a half to six years, supported by their parents. The total duration of the program was three months and the final evaluation was done with qualitative and quantitative research tools in which the researcher who was also the responsible teacher of the department as well as the parents of the participants participated.
