The Greek educational system operates in a different way from the other educational systems of European countries, giving special emphasis to the admission of students in Higher Education. In recent years, the way students are admitted to universities and technical institutes is constantly changing, without, however, limiting its examination-oriented character. This way of access alters the pedagogical role of the school, while reducing the autonomy of Greek teachers, as their actions in the Lyceum are determined by the timetable and the requirements of the access system to the Higher and Higher Education Institutions of our country. There are various objections that are constantly expressed about the need for reforms in the school area, in order to emphasize the role of the Lyceum and to implement its goals, which concern the comprehensive development of man and his smooth social integration. In this context, this research paper studies the views of students of the Pedagogical Departments of Primary Education, with the ultimate goal of highlighting, interpreting and evaluating the way in which students face the Lyceum, education and the system of access to universities and technical institutes. highlighting the influence of the exam-oriented character on the inability to pursue an effective internal educational policy.
