The framework of the organization and operation of modern educational units is determined by the principles of administrative science. Schools in the light of business research are organizations whose operation is governed by the terms of business management. However, schools as organizations are distinguished for their dual nature, pedagogical and administrative. The formulation of the educational strategy aims to combine both of these functions in order to achieve the goals in both the educational and the administrative environment of the schools. The pressures exerted on educational organizations by changing social, economic, political conditions as well as scientific and technological developments make it necessary for them to be flexible and adapt to any change in order to be sustainable. This paper attempts to highlight the importance of integrating innovation and mostly business innovation as well as the importance of the organizational culture in integrating the innovation in the educational sector, as basic conditions for the smooth operation and sustainability of the modern school.
