The spread of Covid 19 pandemic has brought about radical changes in people’s daily lives. Governments around the world, as well as in Greece, in order to restrict the spread of the pandemic, had decided to suspend operations in both public and private sectors, as well as they enforced a lockdown. For the continuation of the works teleworking and distant education were proposed. The present case study, having as a reference point a Group of Foreign Languages Tutoring, studied the managers first reactions, the planning, the implementation and the organization they followed in order to manage the crisis. Managers refer to the obstacles they faced during the planning and the implementation and the changes they had to make. Moreover they asked about the response of parents – students to distant learning. Finally, they gave their first assessments of the consolidation of distant learning in Foreign Language Learning, as well as the efficiency and effectiveness of remote managing.
