In an education system that responsible of educating the future citizens of a society, the role of the teacher is becoming more and more demanding. The modern teacher is not just a transmitter of knowledge, but is called upon to help his students acquire skills and learn to work together. These requirements can result in pressure on teachers, which is why it is important to investigate whether there is a job prosperity in the teaching industry.
Given that the role of the principal of a school unit is equally multidimensional, in the context of this work a quantitative survey was conducted on a sample of 200 teachers, which showed that teachers are relatively satisfied with the level of job well-being, while an important role in this is also the case with the way the school principal exercises his leadership.
