The present work aims to investigate the frequency of medical services (computed tomography, bone density measurement, mammography and ultrasound cardiology study) in relation to quality of care provided by contractors with EOPYY providers. The criterion for selecting this topic was the competitiveness of the medical examinations of the last years in our country and the degree to which it influence the field of health services and especially the part of their value. For the last twenty years, the Greek healthcare system has been trying with basic health care as a key component, to formulate plans and proposals that could give the system the characteristics that would allow the satisfaction of the health needs of citizens. The arguments developed for Public-Private Sector Partnerships (PPPs) consist of providing better quality and more cost-effective services to citizens in a shorter period of time than traditional ways of financing projects. For this reason, evaluations of medical services should be carried out, with the ultimate goal of reflecting the demand for health services over the supply of primary care providers. In general, the study of the frequency of patients’ visits to the above medical examinations aims to improve the quality of the services provided and consequently to increase their satisfaction with the care they receive. The quality is mainly determined by the cost of the examination that the patient is required to pay. The value of the medical examination is a key indicator of the quality of health services. Patient assessments reflect their needs and expectations from health services and the degree to which they are achieved. The methodology that followed was the bibliographic review as well as the conduct of a survey on the frequency of medical examinations of users in a diagnostic center of the Municipality of Kallithea through a random sample. The results obtained in terms of patient satisfaction with medical services are quite satisfactory, giving the message that quality in primary health care ( in terms of the private sector which was examined), has a primary role.
