The present study investigates consumer preferences regarding their tourism choices. The purpose of the study is to draw conclusions for the creation of products and services in tourism that will satisfy their desires.
For this reason, an electronic survey was conducted and was collected a sample of 357 participants from all over Greece. After the collection, was performed statistical analysis of the data and were drawn the main conclusions.
The conclusion of the research is that the participants prefer alternative forms of tourism, with special interest for environment and culture. Moreover, the effects of the new coronavirus Covid-19, create unfamiliar conditions within which tourism businesses must adapt.
