Abstract

The subject of this paper is to the study of processes and psychological factors of a project team, in relation with their high performance. In the first chapter some introductory meanings are mentioned, in the second the performance mechanisms of a project group are analyzed, in the third the individual mechanisms are analyzed and at the end the empirical part of this research is analyzed. Specifically, knowledge sharing, psychological safety, group cohesion, leadership, cooperative approach to conﬂict, competitive approach to conﬂict and job satisfaction. Two statistical models were developed for the above purpose. In the first model, team's performance was considered as a dependent variable and in the latter team's job satisfaction. A prerequisite for the statistical analysis was the production of a questionnaire and the collection of answers by a large number of people questioned. The sample of people questioned consisted of 122 ones working in different sectors, mainly engineers. Therefore, in this paper, assumptions were depicted and tested experimentally, some were confirmed and some not. Finally, the results of this survey were recorded and analyzed coming to conclusions.
