The largest source of human capital in the educational system is the School staff, and thus the costliest. It is important to identify the level of Job Satisfaction (JS) that teacher and the rest of the personnel experience. The purpose of this thesis is to examine and determine how the type of school, working relation, years of service and area of service affect the JS of teachers in Greece. We used a questionnaire to collect data, which was distributed throughout Greece. According to the results, teacher’s JS is affected by the years of service and the area of service, while factors like the type of school and working relation do not have significant effect.
