Abstract
Since 1995, the development of a technology known as mobile telephony has begun. Slowly it
was succeeded and spread so much that it attributed a mobile phone device to every inhabitant
of the Earth. The devices were initially bulky, heavyweight and very monochrome. Competition
and trend brought much smaller lighter and color monitors. In recent years mobile phones have
been replaced by smartphones where their use as speech devices is a minimal percentage of
their capabilities. Now the devices are more small computers, and the development of
functionalities has also helped to give them all these choices to users. The most responsive
operating device (both manufacturers) and end-users is Google's Android. Together with this, it
launched a new perspective for developers, developing applications for every need of Android
users. Today, a separate piece has been created in the Android operating system that has the
Google Play name and is the point of finding any available app (free or paid) for each user in his
own right to have a mobile running Google (Android) and a gmail account.
We will download several apps from Google Play along with the information they carry (volume,
reviews, downloads, etc.) in order to show from the amount of data how much specific
permissions are required on the user's personal data.
