Abstract

Nowadays, the imposition of taxes is a controversial issue. This application provides an easy way of calculating property tax for 2016. The project was done in Android Studio. It is used Firebase which is a real-time database where the data of the user stored. The property tax is calculated by using various factors settled out by the government. Some of these factors are the floor rate, the rate of the auxiliary spaces, the facade factor, the factor of age of the building etc. Also, each region has a value. Thus, the building acquires a monetary value depending on which area it is located. The objective of this application is to calculate correctly and simply the property tax.
