functioning, in order to achieve the goals of this research. In addition to that, a research
was held during three months, concerning the methods of funding the selected social
enterprises have used to commence their business activities in the economic recession.
The research discovered that in according to the enterprises of the sample the
social enterprises don’t have much ability for investments and the number of jobs
created for marginalized people is not significant. Most of the enterprises use their own
means of funding and private organizations (but not from the banks) for the beginning
of the entrepreneurial process, and their revenues come mostly from their transactions
with the open market. It is pointed out that although in theory there are a lot of different
forms of funding, public and European, they are not being put into practice as
announced by the authorities.
