The aim of the present study is to research into the levels of job satisfaction and professional burnout of hospital employees of Mitera Hospital as well as their working conditions in today’s professional reality.
The research was conducted in 2016 in order to identify the factors that influence job satisfaction and professional burnout of hospital staff by using original data collected by questionnaires. The sample consisted of hospital staff of Mitera Hospital. The data was collected by using the Job Satisfaction Questionnaire and Professional Burnout Scale and the analyses were made with the statistical packet SPSS 17.0.
In conclusion, the statistical processing and analysis of the data have shown that none of the demographic characteristics (sex, age, personal level of education, work experience) of the hospital staff relates to professional burnout and job satisfaction given the fact that the statistical error is too big. However, the bibliographical references have shown a correlation between the demographic characteristics and job satisfaction as well as professional burnout.
