Stock management towards a telecommunication provider
Nowadays stocks are managed by each one of us both in our homes and our workplace as well. We keep on checking for shortages and purchases that we consider as nessecary on a daily basis. Therefore, stock management is a natural occupation that each one of us is handling in his own way. Even a country's wealth is measured by the Gross National Product, the export and inport of goods and services that the nation produces in a given time. In the current globalized environment, companies are promoting their products and services worldwide. The demands for their quality are increasing day-by-day. The main demand of consumers is the satisfaction of their demand in a reliable and fast way. Stock management is a technique with scientific foundations aiming at the observance of stored quantity of the good and receiving the relevant desicions such as when and in what quantity a stock should be ordered. This senior thesis is studying the system of product's management in a telecommunication business, so that we can have a picture of the methods that have been proposed for problem solving concerning the stock management. The techniques that are described are the basic notions which we should know of for the proper stock management of a business. Therefore, by knowing these techniques, each one can adjust them according to his own needs.
