The integration of repatriated greek pupils in the national education system has been a project that regressed among many policies and practices, producing small changes and improvements in the successful education of those students. The frustrations experienced by everyday practices that dictate the curricula and the requirements of the textbooks are multiple and significant. Τhis research aims to highlight the importance of engaging these students in innovative, collaborative teaching approaches, in order to promote their school progress. The purpose of this Master Thesis is to investigate whether the process of conducting social research by primary school students through the use of technology could contribute in the strengthening of each individual student as to enrich vocabulary, particularly in prose and develop critical thinking skills During the survey that was implemented and included in this thesis, the students were introduced to a social research questionnaire, through stages that constitute and validate the scientific method. Regarding the initial research questions, the results were satisfactory and encourage further expansion of the research both in larger time scale and a larger sample.
